What you will do

• Lead day-to-day execution and delivery of audit and advisory engagements for blockchain and digital asset clients.
• Supervise associate-level professionals and delegate engagement responsibilities.
• Communicate and resolve audit matters during engagements with support from the engagement manager.
• Research, understand, and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures relevant to the industry.
• Draft financials and prepare verbal and written audit findings.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to drive client satisfaction.

Requirements

• United States: Must be based in the United States
• Minimum 3+ years of audit experience, including audit planning, developing audit programs, performing testing, and preparing work papers.
• Knowledge of internal accounting controls, control testing, and professional standards and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to conduct technical research.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with blockchain/digital asset technical accounting topics (e.g., token issuances, exchange/custodial accounting, DeFi, staking, lending, derivatives accounting, crypto basis tracking) and the ecosystem (smart contracts, block explorers, crypto tracking/accounting software, blockchain analysis, RegTech tools).

Nice to have

• Licensed CPA (preferred)
• Experience in blockchain and digital assets (ideal, but not necessary)
• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree (preferred)
