What you will do

• Converse with AI models on complex lab scenarios and theoretical fungal pathogen questions.
• Verify the factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses.
• Capture and document reproducible error traces to harden model reasoning.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics based on domain expertise.
• Provide clear, metacognitive explanations to demonstrate scientific reasoning.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• PhD in microbiology, medical mycology, pathology, or a closely related life-science field.
• Deep expertise in fungal pathogens, antifungal resistance, and host-fungus interactions.
• Experience with clinical diagnostics, fungal culture techniques, and molecular diagnostics.
• Ability to provide clear, structured communication and document scientific work.
• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet.
