What you will do

• Coordinate and complete Test Equipment Sustainment activities for Torrance Operations to keep deployed test equipment operating throughout the product life cycle.
• Work with Assembly and Test Operations to sustain test systems spanning mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, electrical, software, and power distribution components.
• Coordinate with Test Systems Design and Project/NPI functions on maintenance, upgrades, and sustainment work packages.
• Investigate and resolve issues causing production stops, quality escapes, and/or reduced first-pass yield.
• Use Pirana AVMS to log, track, and document customer work requests and preventative maintenance; maintain configuration and release test equipment documentation.
• Lead obsolescence management, support corrective actions/non-conformances, perform technical reviews, and support internal/external quality audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Project Management, Aeronautical, Physics).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering sector (Aerospace, Automotive, Test Equipment).
• Proficiency maintaining and supporting equipment solutions for multi-axis, closed-loop, servo-hydraulic and electromechanical systems.
• Experience with one or more: JIRA, Pirana, NX, or LabVIEW.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearances as required.
