What you will do

• Contribute to the architecture of a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform, including services, APIs, data, integrations, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks across scalability, availability, security, data residency, and disaster recovery.
• Define and maintain architecture reference designs, technical standards, and reusable blueprints for engineering teams.
• Design and govern enterprise identity and access management (SSO, provisioning, authorization models, tenant isolation).
• Embed security and compliance by design (SOC 2, GDPR, enterprise security controls).
• Architect scalable, high-performance multi-region, multi-tenant data and event-driven systems; define integration and onboarding patterns for third parties.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Denver, CO area with on-site presence at least three days per week.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or platform engineering, including designing production SaaS platforms (Azure preferred).
• Hands-on expertise with Azure services (e.g., AKS, Cosmos DB, Synapse, Service Bus, Redis, APIM, Entra ID) and cloud-native design patterns.
• Experience designing multi-tenant data architectures with tenant isolation, governance, encryption, and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of identity and security standards (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, RBAC, encryption, key management).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Azure Solutions Architect certification or equivalent advanced credentials preferred.
