Finance Manager

TL;DR

Finance Manager: Ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and compliance with local regulations and group standards with an accent on financial planning, tax compliance, and team leadership. Focus on acting as a strategic business partner to support operational initiatives and overseeing the local accounting function in a multinational environment.

Location: Must be based in Turkey and hold a valid Turkey work permit. Hybrid working model (3 days in the office in Istanbul).

What you will do

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting in line with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Oversee payroll coordination and ensure compliance with group policies, tax, and VAT requirements.
• Supervise and develop the local accounting and finance team.
• Act as a finance business partner to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Manage internal and external audits, contracts, and insurance matters.

Requirements

• Must be based in Turkey and hold a valid Turkey work permit.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within multinational companies.
• Strong knowledge of IAS, IFRS, and SOX frameworks.
• Fluent in English and Turkish (written and spoken).
• Proven people management experience and strong background in local statutory accounting.
