What you will do

• Create network designs and build services for Transmission, DWDM, and IP MPLS Packet networks.
• Maintain records and databases of customer solutions to ensure accurate delivery and installation.
• Manage disconnects and capacity reallocation to optimize network utilization.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal design principles.
• Support service activation and implementation across various telecom technologies.
• Contribute to the development of internal standards, processes, and technical guidelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operational experience as a network engineer, preferably in service provider environments.
• Operational experience with carrier-class routers and switches (Juniper, Nokia, or Cisco required).
• Solid knowledge of Layer-2 and Layer-3 protocols including BGP, ISIS, VPLS, IPVPN, MPLS, and QinQ.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with optical transmission systems, specifically Ciena 6500.
• Understanding of DWDM, ROADM, Flexgrid, and photonic layers.
• Relevant certifications from Juniper, Cisco, Nokia, or Ciena.
