Location: Must be based in or able to commute to York, UK (Hybrid: 2-3 days per week in office).

What you will do
- Define and evolve the multi-year product vision and strategy for the underwriting business area.
- Partner with senior leadership to prioritize roadmaps and make complex investment trade-offs.
- Lead discovery and experience design, facilitating journey mapping and cross-functional collaboration.
- Translate business outcomes into clear product intent and requirements for delivery teams.
- Monitor performance using OKRs and KPIs to ensure the realization of commercial and efficiency benefits.
- Act as the primary transformation partner, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technical execution.
Requirements
- Strong experience in the insurance sector, specifically as a Product Manager in underwriting or underwriting platform environments.
- Proven track record of partnering with Executive/ExCo-level stakeholders to shape strategy and influence investment.
- Experience leading large-scale product or transformation initiatives in complex, matrixed environments.
- Deep understanding of underwriting processes and risk decision-making.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, backlog ownership, and delivery oversight.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to balance commercial growth, efficiency, and customer outcomes.
