Compensation: $134,961 - $188,945 (WA applicants).

What you will do
- Design, implement, and deploy mission operations software systems supporting space mission operations.
- Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot software infrastructure to ensure high system reliability.
- Collaborate with flight vehicle and mission control teams to define software requirements and architectures.
- Lead post-incident reviews and drive actionable improvements to system reliability.
- Integrate software components and validate them using Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop simulators.
- Produce technical documentation for software architecture, design, and verification plans.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident (Green Card holder).
- B.S. or higher in computer engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of software development or SRE experience across the full software lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience with modern CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Proficiency in Linux environments and at least one programming language (Python, Go, Rust, or Java).
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes.
Nice to have
- Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience with REST APIs, Kafka, and gRPC.
- Background in web or database development.
- Experience with spacecraft subsystems and fault monitoring systems.
