What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy mission operations software systems supporting space mission operations.
• Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot software infrastructure to ensure high system reliability.
• Collaborate with flight vehicle and mission control teams to define software requirements and architectures.
• Lead post-incident reviews and drive actionable improvements to system reliability.
• Integrate software components and validate them using Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop simulators.
• Produce technical documentation for software architecture, design, and verification plans.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident (Green Card holder).
• B.S. or higher in computer engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of software development or SRE experience across the full software lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience with modern CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and at least one programming language (Python, Go, Rust, or Java).
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience with REST APIs, Kafka, and gRPC.
• Background in web or database development.
• Experience with spacecraft subsystems and fault monitoring systems.
