TL;DR
Support Engineer, SAP ABAP/BTP (SAP): Providing remote support for mission-critical SAP applications and developing cloud integrations, APIs, and localization solutions with an accent on ABAP, SAP BTP, Brazil tax flows, and multi-module troubleshooting. Focus on designing secure OData/REST services, implementing event-driven integrations, optimizing performance, and resolving P1/P2 incidents under SLA.

What you will do
- Provide remote support for mission-critical SAP applications across ABAP, BTP, and multiple SAP modules.
- Research, troubleshoot, develop, test, package, and deliver fixes for complex, highly customized environments.
- Design and operate SAP BTP services, including Cloud Foundry/Kyma, Destinations, Connectivity, Cloud Connector, and XSUAA.
- Develop and manage OData/REST APIs, API Management policies, Event Mesh integrations, SAP CAP services, and ABAP RAP solutions.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated ATC checks, transport governance, performance optimization, and security controls.
- Handle P1/P2 incidents under SLA, produce root-cause analyses and runbooks, and deliver technical documentation and knowledge-transfer sessions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with ABAP, Fiori programming, SAP modules, and SAP BTP administration and integration.
- At least 3 years of experience with SAP FI/CO, MM, and SD, including ECC and 4.x environments.
- Hands-on experience with OData/REST APIs, API Management, SAP CAP, ABAP RAP, Event Mesh, and BTP CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Brazil localization, including Nota Fiscal, tax determination, fiscal document processing, and SD/MM billing flows.
- Advanced troubleshooting and performance analysis using SQLM, ST05, SAT, and ATC, plus experience with security, authorization checks, secrets, and audit logging.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is expected.

- SAP certification.
- Consulting experience, knowledge of country-specific solutions, and experience with localizations and global implementations.
- Spanish language skills.
