What you will do

• Own portfolio strategy and roadmap end-to-end, translating business cases into prioritized decisions and managing engineering trade-offs.
• Build a revenue-growth strategy for the three-product portfolio, identifying highest-value features and positioning moves aligned to customer demand and engineering capacity.
• Be the voice of the customer by building direct customer relationships, surfacing unmet needs, and validating solutions before engineering.
• Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Support to deliver winning products and effective go-to-market motions.
• Identify and evaluate partnership, licensing, and ecosystem opportunities to extend portfolio reach.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise mainframe software, with a demonstrable record of growing revenue or contribution margin for existing products.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder products in an Agile development environment.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative prioritization skills, combining customer interviews, usage data, and financial models.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, support) without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing business cases and presenting to executives.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Background in enterprise infrastructure software (storage management, performance monitoring, systems management, or related domains).
• Familiarity with mainframe, IBM Power, or hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.
• MBA or related master’s degree.
