What you will do

• Monitor payment gateway fraud detection engines on a daily basis.
• Optimize core fraud detection rulesets to reduce false positives and improve retention.
• Establish a holistic fraud strategy addressing account creation, chargebacks, and payment vaulting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify platform weaknesses.
• Conduct industry landscape reviews and evaluate new fraud detection opportunities.
• Define and report on key performance indicators to measure fraud reduction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Fraud Analyst in e-commerce or similar fields.
• Strong background in payment gateways and transactional data flows.
• Proven proficiency in creating and managing fraud engine rules.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or other languages for automation and data extraction.
• Familiarity with fraud schemes such as friendly fraud, account takeovers, and chargebacks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
