Cloud Architect (OpenStack)

TL;DR

Cloud Architect (OpenStack): Designing and extending the T-Cloud Public platform with an accent on container technology, infrastructure automation, and IT security. Focus on developing innovative SaaS features, providing expert guidance on OpenStack-based technologies, and ensuring system reliability through hands-on architectural work.

Location: Must be based in Slovakia (Remote/Hybrid work available within Slovakia only).

Salary: From €2,200 gross per month.

What you will do

• Improve platform architecture while maintaining high IT security standards.
• Design and develop innovative platform and SaaS features.
• Act as a trusted advisor for OpenStack-based public cloud technology.
• Perform hands-on console work to support architectural designs.
• Automate infrastructure using industry-standard frameworks.
• Collaborate within a team of specialists in an open and supportive environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in Slovakia due to taxation and data security regulations.
• Technical degree or comparable professional training.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures.
• Proficiency in Linux, system tools, and network-related services.
• English: B2 Upper-Intermediate level required.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenStack.
• Programming experience in OpenSource projects.
• Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, or Ansible.
