What you will do

• Design and engineer core end-user platform services used across the organization for secure communication, coordination, planning, and automation.
• Own technical architecture for services delivered via cloud and on-prem systems, collaborating with other platform architects and engineers.
• Lead implementations for Microsoft 365 services including Purview, Security, and Entra ID, emphasizing automation, zero-configuration, and zero-trust.
• Modernize Azure and Entra ID architecture and configuration, including hybrid identity management.
• Improve the security posture of Microsoft 365 services and map security/privacy/operational requirements to implementable engineering controls.
• Support PowerPlatform integration and build/assist system integrations outside of M365; hand off operational tasks for Purview services to platform operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of systems engineering experience across requirements development, systems design/analysis, systems integration, and verification/validation.
• 8+ years adopting cloud methodologies for enterprise-scale identity management, messaging, and office productivity solutions.
• Deep expertise in modern identity solutions: hybrid identity, Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange Online, Intune, Azure AD), and Azure Cloud Security with Purview.
• Hands-on administration experience in large Microsoft 365 environments (Office/Exchange Online/SharePoint Online/Teams/Azure AD/Intune/Defender) including hybrid deployment architectures.
• Strong scripting/automation skills, including extensive PowerShell experience for administering and automating AAD and Office 365 technologies.
• Implementation-level experience with Microsoft 365 Protection solutions (e.g., DLP, mail hygiene, classification/labels, records management, threat management, eDiscovery, GDPR).
