Salary: $20.00–$26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform visual inspections for optics surface quality following standardized procedures.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using hand-held instruments and automated measurement equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, process sheets, and material certifications to determine specifications.
• Complete First Article Inspections and generate non-conforming materials reports.
• Support Process Engineering by conducting Tests of the Day and collecting validation data.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff and develop manufacturing technicians in self-qualification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a quality assurance or inspector role within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5).
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and standards used in the optics industry.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
