What you will do

• Define long-term cloud vision, roadmap, and reference architectures for AWS and Azure.
• Act as the highest-level technical authority for designing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud ecosystems.
• Drive multi-million dollar cost optimization initiatives and capacity planning.
• Architect enterprise-grade Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop and enforce organizational cloud security, compliance, and disaster recovery standards.
• Provide executive-level guidance and technical mentorship to engineering teams and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mexico
• 12+ years of related experience (or 8+ years with a Master's degree).
• 8+ years of experience specifically designing and managing multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS & Azure).
• Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and large-scale Terraform management.
• Expertise in strategic scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for platform automation.
• Proven track record of visionary leadership and executive communication.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Architect Expert certifications.
• Deep expertise in containers (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS) and serverless technologies.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware) and large-scale migration strategies.
• Experience with cloud databases like Aurora or Cosmos DB.
