Product Engineer Intern (AI)

TL;DR

Product Engineer Intern (AI): Contributing to the development of a circular waste management platform with an accent on full-stack feature delivery and AI-driven engineering. Focus on building end-to-end features across internal and customer-facing applications while collaborating closely with product and design teams.

Location: Must be based in the Netherlands and able to work from the Amsterdam office at least three days a week.

Salary: €550 per month

What you will do

• Ship features end-to-end across the stack including frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Integrate AI tooling like Claude and agents into the development workflow.
• Collaborate with internal business users and external customers to gather requirements.
• Contribute to internal libraries, patterns, and engineering processes.
• Work across the platform including the Cockpit, Waste Saver, Data, and Partner Portal apps.

Requirements

• Must be currently studying in the Netherlands.
• Must be able to work from the Amsterdam office at least three days a week.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with frontend (Vue) or backend (NestJS) frameworks.
• Proven ability to take ownership through school or side projects.
• AI-native mindset with practical experience building with LLMs.
