What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Java-based payment services.
• Develop and modernize front-end components using modern frameworks.
• Execute the migration of legacy payment software to LitHTML.
• Design clean APIs and technical solutions aligned with clean architecture.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments on Azure and Kubernetes.
• Monitor applications, resolve incidents, and continuously improve system reliability.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Senior experience as a Java developer.
• Strong knowledge of Java 21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and JPA.
• Experience with TypeScript and NPM.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Experience with component-based front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, Svelte, or Lit).

Nice to have

• Experience in a financial or regulated environment.
• Previous experience within ING.
