Senior Analytics Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Analytics Engineer (Data Infrastructure): Designing, developing, and maintaining a complete data infrastructure to amplify the impact of data across the organization with an accent on ETL processes, big data technologies, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on building scalable data pipelines, selecting advanced analytics tools, and providing technical leadership to the team.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid model: minimum 6 days per month in the office).

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of data infrastructure and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Evaluate and select external analytics tools and platforms to support advanced capabilities.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive scalable data-driven solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Document processes and establish best practices for analytics tools to ensure scalability.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and SQL with a solid understanding of big data technologies.
• Proven expertise in ETL processes, data integration, and building reliable pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based environments, ideally AWS.
• Experience developing interactive dashboards using BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Barcelona (relocation package and visa sponsorship provided).
• Excellent communication skills for leading cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience working with non-technical senior leadership.
• Knowledge of automation and governance using AI tooling.
