What you will do

• Manage and evolve GCP infrastructure including networking, IAM, and firewall rules.
• Contribute directly to core backend systems like RBAC and job queues using Python and TypeScript.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end release processes.
• Run on-call rotations and manage incident response to ensure platform uptime.
• Partner with security teams on vulnerability scanning and infrastructure hardening.
• Improve observability, monitoring, and documentation across the platform.

Requirements

• Swiss or EU citizenship is mandatory.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong proficiency with GCP (compute, storage, networking, IAM).
• Solid experience with containerized applications (Docker).
• Proficiency in Python and experience working with production backend codebases.
• Experience managing production databases like MongoDB or Redis.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
