What you will do

• Own software projects end-to-end from design through delivery and iteration.
• Architect and build a next-generation internal platform for engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure-as-code.
• Design systems to deploy, manage, and scale applications for service owners.
• Partner with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and drive cloud efficiency.
• Champion platform efficiency by sharing knowledge and leading internal enablement sessions.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• 3+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or a related discipline.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or PHP.

Nice to have

• AWS Professional or Specialty certifications.
• Expertise in core AWS services like S3, IAM, EC2, Lambda, or EKS.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Proven history of driving significant cloud cost reductions at scale.
