What you will do

• Monitor global fertilizer markets, price indices, supply/demand dynamics, and competitor positioning.
• Execute purchase and sales contracts ensuring adherence to legal, credit, and company standards.
• Coordinate vessel nominations, port scheduling, customs, and inventory planning for Sub-Saharan African hubs.
• Manage trade documentation, pricing sheets, and track open positions and P&L.
• Support senior traders in sourcing products and managing global supplier relationships.
• Contribute to government and cooperative tender responses for bulk fertilizer procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Economics, Agronomy, International Trade, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
• 1–3 years of experience in commodity trading, agri-inputs procurement, shipping, or trade finance.
• Fluency in English and French is a minimum requirement.
• Must be based in Geneva, Switzerland (Hybrid work format).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, scenario analysis, pivot tables) and ERP knowledge (D365 or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of Incoterm 2020 and trade finance (LC/documentary credit).
