What you will do

• Review and load financial data from Private Equity clients into internal accounting systems.
• Prepare and review consolidations across investment structures using defined consolidation rules.
• Handle fund expense payments, journal entries, and third-party reconciliations for investments and cash.
• Calculate capital calls, distributions, and prepare associated notices for investors.
• Compute management fees and carried interest in adherence to applicable fund documents.
• Prepare investor allocations and comprehensive NAV packages according to service level agreements.

Requirements

• Experience working in Financial Accounting, Fund Accounting, or Audit.
• Must be based in or able to work in Halifax, NS, Canada for a hybrid arrangement.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• CPA, ACCA, or CA qualification, or currently in the process of obtaining one.
• Experience with Private Equity or Hedge Funds is preferred.
