Freelance Event Specialist

Location: On-site in Dublin, Ireland; candidates must already be based in Dublin. No relocation packages are offered.

What you will do

• Participate in virtual planning meetings with corporate, nonprofit, venue, and event partners.
• Lead onsite setup, event execution, teardown, site cleanup, and repackaging of event materials.
• Coordinate responsibilities among hosts, nonprofit organizations, venues, staff, and corporate partners.
• Manage guest check-in and deliver a welcoming, high-quality customer experience.
• Resolve supply, staffing, technology, and other operational issues during events.
• Provide event updates, photos, and videos to the Events Team and escalate issues when needed.

Requirements

• Fluent English and strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Already based in Dublin, Ireland and willing to travel across the local region.
• Experience delivering complex large-scale events and smaller executive-level events.
• Resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, self-starting, and able to solve problems under pressure.
• Availability for flexible hours, including nights and weekends, on a per-event contract basis.
• Ability to facilitate groups, manage group dynamics, interact with large crowds, and lift, slide, or carry up to 30 lbs while standing for extended periods.
