What you will do

• Design, implement, and validate flight control algorithms for fixed-wing aircraft in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Perform flight dynamical analysis across the full flight envelope and across different flight phases.
• Derive requirements from high-level requirements and implement flight control laws in Simulink.
• Analyze robustness and performance of linear and nonlinear controllers, including fault scenarios, time delays, and controller degradation.
• Evaluate flight tests and analyze performance of flight control algorithms.
• Define, execute, and evaluate simulation-based tests; document implementations with traceability to requirements and test cases.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering (or a closely related field).
• At least 1 year of professional experience in flight dynamics and flight control development.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Strong communication skills in English.
