TL;DR

Customer Support Technician (IoT): Providing Tier II technical support for retail IoT platforms with an accent on diagnosing software, database, and infrastructure failures. Focus on resolving complex system issues, managing VPN configurations, and maintaining clear communication with global clients.

Location: Must be based in Mexico City, Mexico (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote).

What you will do

  • Diagnose and resolve software, database, and infrastructure failures.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system and setting problems.
  • Interact directly with clients via telephone and email to resolve technical issues.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Report bugs and manage VPN installations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Tier II customer-facing technical support role.
  • Fluent English proficiency required.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, SQL, Unix, Linux, and Windows.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud services.
  • National Diploma in IT.

Nice to have

  • JavaScript programming experience.
  • Experience with PaaS and Cloud testing.
