What you will do

• Own and drive the artistic vision of the project, ensuring consistency across all visual elements.
• Act as the key decision-maker for all art-related matters and deliverables.
• Communicate and align the art vision with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor the art team to foster skill growth and maintain motivation.
• Define and uphold the quality bar for all visual assets through detailed briefs and style guides.
• Collaborate with production teams on scheduling, planning, and milestone tracking.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of industry experience in game development with at least 2–3 AAA shipped titles.
• Prior experience as an Art Director on large-scale or complex projects.
• Deep knowledge of current workflows, pipelines, and game engines like Unreal or Unity.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and traditional art fundamentals.
• Fluent in English or native English speaker.
• Ability to balance visual fidelity with gameplay and performance considerations.

Nice to have

• Experience working with distributed teams and outsourcing partners.
• Previous experience with cinematic or stylized visual development.
• Multilingual skills.
