VP Audio Technology Operations (Immersive Audio)

Location: On-site in Burbank, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; or New York City, New York. Requires 40% domestic and international travel and availability for non-traditional hours.

Salary: $300,000–$375,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead audio technology operations and optimization across immersive sound systems, enterprise audio infrastructure, and multiple venues.
• Oversee audio operations for concerts, residencies, brand events, broadcast productions, and special experiences.
• Define the long-term vision, roadmap, operational strategy, standards, performance metrics, and technical training programs for venue audio systems.
• Lead and mentor immersive audio leads, technicians, and production staff while coordinating with engineering, product development, artists, sound designers, and venue leadership.
• Translate artistic and production requirements into scalable technical solutions and ensure reliable execution of live and non-live events.
• Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, warranty programs, workforce planning, staffing, labor management, succession planning, and operational resilience.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in audio design, live sound, music production, or immersive audio for large-scale entertainment experiences.
• Deep expertise in live event production, concert touring, or large-format entertainment environments.
• Senior leadership experience managing high-performing teams and large-scale audio environments in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
• Experience with immersive audio technologies, spatial audio systems, or large-format sound environments.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and technology teams to apply advanced capabilities in creative production environments.
• Background across multiple entertainment mediums, such as concerts, theater, immersive attractions, film, television, or experiential entertainment.
