What you will do

• Manage and coordinate multiple ongoing projects with values up to £10 million.
• Assume Principal Contractor responsibilities in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations.
• Lead the implementation of HSQE procedures and conduct regular site safety inspections.
• Oversee commercial aspects, including budget management, cost control, and target margins.
• Provide line management to Site Managers, Engineers, and Site Foremen.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing change control and expectations.

Requirements

• Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Project Manager role within the water industry.
• SMSTS (CITB) and CSCS (Manager Level) certifications.
• CDM Awareness and a strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Must be located in or able to work within the specified UK regions (Hampshire, West Sussex, South Coast).

Nice to have

• APM PMQ, NEBOSH, or IOSH Managing Safely certifications.
• Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar planning tools.
• SEATS or Environmental Management training.
