What you will do

• Provide legal guidance to business units on regulatory, transactional, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and revise contracts, including deposit, mortgage, vendor, and privacy agreements.
• Analyze legal documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
• Conduct legal research and interpret regulations to support informed decision-making.
• Support daily legal operations, including matter intake, document management, and issue tracking.
• Work with Compliance, Risk, and business teams to manage legal risk and governance activities.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with typically 4+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Foundational knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to banking and financial services.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and issue-spotting skills.
• Effective drafting skills for contracts and legal analysis.
• Ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non-legal business partners.
