What you will do

• Administer and monitor virtual computing environments including VMware vSphere and Nutanix.
• Manage patch cycles, backups, and system restores to ensure data integrity.
• Support and monitor hardware servers, fibre optic fabrics, and data storage arrays.
• Optimize system performance and conduct capacity planning.
• Implement security standards and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide 2nd line support and coordinate with 3rd line teams for complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of IT experience.
• Proven experience in administering complex virtual environments like VMware vSphere or Nutanix.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as VMware Aria Operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and ITIL processes.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP-MCI) certification.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware vSAN.
• Experience with HPE SAN Storage arrays such as HPE Primera.
