AI Machine Learning Engineer

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable AI/ML solutions for R&D use cases.
• Write production-quality code for data, modeling, and deployment pipelines.
• Implement and maintain MLOps workflows with automated CI/CD, containerization, and model observability.
• Deploy, monitor, and continuously optimize machine learning solutions in production.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum framework to deliver project milestones.
• Translate business challenges into technical requirements and communicate project updates and trade-offs to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Senior-level proficiency in Python and strong software engineering practices, including design patterns, unit testing, and modular code.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML architectures, data platforms, algorithms, and mathematical foundations for high-precision R&D applications.
• Hands-on experience with Azure ML SDK/CLI or Azure Databricks, including online endpoints, compute clusters, and data assets.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitLab automation, Docker, deployment pipelines, monitoring, model drift, accuracy, and data quality.
• Experience taking machine learning models from research to stable production environments and working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Full professional proficiency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with formulation, chemistry, or the Fragrance & Flavour industry.
• Strong professional proficiency in French.
