What you will do

• Lead backend development for a fintech product within the Liquidity Team.
• Mentor developers and drive cross-functional features with other teams.
• Connect exchanges, third-party trading agencies, and other providers to build a multi-functional trading platform.
• Develop and optimize hirify.global’ trading API for seamless, scalable user experiences.
• Research and implement cloud-native architectures to support growth and scalability.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of backend development experience with proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong system design skills, including distributed systems and scalability.
• Proven experience designing and deploying microservices-based architectures in production.
• Experience with monitoring and logging frameworks such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
• DeFi & crypto domain knowledge (must-have): blockchain fundamentals (transaction lifecycles, block confirmations, mempool mechanics, finality across multiple chains such as EVM-compatible chains, Solana, and Bitcoin).
• DeFi & crypto domain knowledge (must-have): hands-on familiarity with DeFi protocols and primitives including AMMs (Uniswap, Curve), liquidity pools, yield mechanisms, and on-chain order books.

Nice to have

• Understanding of crypto liquidity concepts such as market making, order routing, slippage, price impact, and differences between CEX and DEX liquidity.
