Salary: $160,000 — $220,000 USD (Base)

What you will do

• Conduct deep technical research to discover novel risks and attack vectors specific to cloud and AI-native architectures.
• Identify unaddressed risk areas and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate research into capabilities.
• Deliver compelling proofs of risk and technical POCs to demonstrate impact and solutions.
• Support the investigation of complex product scopes to ensure comprehensive risk coverage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security research relevant to modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes).
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go for automation and research.
• Experience using query languages (KQL, SQL) for analysis of security telemetry.
• Proven ability to independently drive complex, multi-quarter research projects from concept to impact.
• Legal right to work in the USA without the need for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Specialized research experience in AI security, specifically risks to AI deployed in enterprises.
• Track record of public-facing work, including industry conferences, technical blogs, or published research.
• Experience in data-driven research using large-scale security telemetry.
