What you will do

• Own the end-to-end billing system overhaul, including CPQ configuration, quote-to-cash integration, and ERP synchronization.
• Design and build integrations connecting product usage events to the billing platform to ensure accurate metered billing.
• Establish change control, deployment practices, and audit trails for all billing-critical systems.
• Partner with Finance, RevOps, and Analytics to define data contracts and validate billing outputs.
• Build flexible systems capable of absorbing pricing model changes and volume growth without one-off engineering.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience engineering data flows between CPQ, billing platforms (e.g., Metronome, Orb, Chargebee), and ERP systems.
• Deep familiarity with quote-to-cash workflows and their common failure points.
• Ability to treat billing systems as production infrastructure using version control, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
• Strong change management discipline focusing on safe deploys and rollback strategies.
• Experience with usage-based, consumption, or event-driven billing models.
• Must be based in the United States

Nice to have

• Prior experience designing and building a greenfield billing system.
• Familiarity with modern usage-based billing platforms like Orb or Metronome.
