Senior Back-End PHP Engineer

Location: Remote; fixed working hours of approximately 40 hours per week, divided into core and flexible daily time slots.

What you will do

• Build, improve, and launch online marketplace platforms for ecommerce and other marketplace use cases.
• Design user-centric backend solutions that balance technical and business needs.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and work with databases in local and production environments.
• Apply Agile and Lean approaches throughout structured product development and discovery processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, multicultural teams and communicate effectively through feedback and shared delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Symfony framework expert.
• 5+ years of experience as a PHP expert.
• 3+ years of experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Experience with Docker in local and production environments.
• Strong understanding and proven implementation of Agile methodologies.
• Proven application of Test Driven Development within a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery environment.
• Experience with test automation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, feedback, time-management, and remote-work skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, AWS, or Elasticsearch.
