Senior Buyer (Supply Chain)

Location: Office-based in Capannori (Lucca), Italy

What you will do

• Develop and manage national and international supplier bases to ensure long-term stable relationships.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with a strong focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Monitor purchase orders and deliveries to guarantee material availability and production continuity.
• Manage procurement for industrial plants, piping systems, electrification, and automation components.
• Lead complex negotiations for the purchase and implementation of turnkey plants, including commissioning and testing.
• Collaborate with Technical Departments and Project Managers to ensure technical and economic alignment.

Requirements

• Technical High school Diploma.
• Relevant professional experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Basic ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• English: Good working knowledge required.
• Experience in engineer-to-order (ETO) or manufacturing companies is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in the industrial and paper sector (Tissue or Paper & Board).
