What you will do
- Contact authors regarding outstanding payments via phone, email, and SMS to facilitate resolution.
- Assist authors with account verifications and royalty withdrawal processes.
- Manage a personal pipeline of open cases with full accountability for follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payment records.
- Document all interactions clearly and escalate cases when necessary.
- Listen actively to author situations to find effective paths to payment resolution.
Requirements
- Advanced written and spoken English proficiency is required (CVs in other languages will not be considered).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Confidence and comfort handling difficult conversations over the phone.
- Strong attention to detail regarding numbers and financial records.
- Empathetic and patient communication style suitable for working with creative authors.
- Self-driven and proactive approach to task management and follow-ups.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer support.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Metorik, WordPress, and ClickUp.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shifting environment.
