Senior Python Backend Developer — L3 Support (SRE/Python + Unity Integration)

Location: Remote from Poland or westward; working window: Monday–Friday, 15:00–00:00 Warsaw time

What you will do

• Support a Django application, CMS, backend services, PostgreSQL database, and GCP infrastructure.
• Review logs, diagnose production issues, resolve post-launch bugs, and perform incident root-cause analysis.
• Monitor application performance, response times, and error rates.
• Optimize PostgreSQL queries, manage indexes, perform database maintenance, and apply schema changes.
• Manage backups and update the Django application for integrated technologies such as Unity and Kaltura.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial Python experience with production-grade backend systems.
• Strong Django and Django REST Framework knowledge, including REST API design, authentication, serialization, pagination, and custom middleware.
• Advanced PostgreSQL skills covering schema design, query optimization, indexing, transactions, ORM, and raw SQL.
• Experience with GCP Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, logging, monitoring, and basic CI/CD.
• Incident response, root-cause analysis, production support, and SLA experience; ability to work independently.
• English at B2 level or higher and availability for the specified Warsaw-time working window.

• Unity or Kaltura integration experience.
• Medtech background or HIPAA awareness.
• DevOps practices and tooling.
• Django admin panel development.
• HTML, CSS, TypeScript, or JavaScript experience.
