Quant Recruiter

What you will do

• Advise students and candidates on firm selection, application timing, resume positioning, and interview preparation.
• Facilitate candidate placements with hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, HFTs, and asset managers.
• Lead virtual office hours, Q&A sessions, and group coaching on recruiting and quant career paths.
• Build relationships with hiring managers and recruiting contacts to source live opportunities.
• Track candidate pipelines and placement outcomes to improve recruiting processes.
• Develop firm guides, interview preparation materials, and career path resources with the WSQ team.

Requirements

• Direct experience in quant recruiting, quant placement, or successfully navigating the quant recruiting process.
• Strong network across quantitative finance, including hedge funds, prop shops, HFTs, or multi-manager platforms.
• Understanding of the differences between quant researcher, quant trader, and quant developer roles.
• Ability to advise undergraduates, new graduates, and experienced professionals changing careers.
• Clear, direct communication and strong organization and responsiveness.
