What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of 50+ clients, providing expert tax advice and quarterly planning.
• Lead and mentor staff accountants and junior managers to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
• Prepare, review, and finalize personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand firm services through strong client relationships.
• Drive continuous process improvements to keep the firm at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Antioch, IL, USA
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a strong focus on tax.
• CPA or EA certification required (or a strong commitment to obtain it promptly).
• Proficiency in tax research, business consulting, and managing multiple tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, colleagues, and leadership.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, and Qount.
