What you will do

• Own the health of the monetisation funnel and ensure system reliability and performance.
• Design and maintain scalable backend systems for subscriptions, billing, entitlements, and pricing logic.
• Minimize revenue-impacting incidents and improve time-to-detection and resolution.
• Support faster experimentation via feature flags, testing, and analytics instrumentation.
• Collaborate with the Data team to build reporting capabilities for revenue and user behavior.

Requirements

• Experience building backend services for high-throughput, business-critical workloads such as payments, subscriptions, or financial systems.
• Proficiency with databases, APIs, and ensuring data integrity in production environments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical partners.
• Systems thinking approach, balancing technical excellence with business impact and user experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with payment providers like Adapty, Stripe, RevenueCat, or Apple/Google IAP APIs.
• Experience with analytics pipelines, experimentation frameworks, or feature flagging systems.
• Experience mentoring other engineers or leading technical initiatives.
• Experience with mobile backend integration for iOS, Android, and web.
