What you will do

• Design, configure, and program automation systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS, MES) for pharmaceutical production lines and utilities.
• Develop functional specifications (URS, FS, DS) and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with GMP, GAMP 5, and 21 CFR Part 11 standards.
• Prepare and execute test protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) while managing deviations and change controls.
• Lead Computer System Validation (CSV) activities and data integrity assessments.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Degree in Automation, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of experience in automation within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA/DCS (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider) or MES systems (e.g., Werum PAS-X).
• Strong understanding of GMP and validation constraints.
• Fluent in English (C1).
• Ability to work in Belgium.
