What you will do

• Design and build latency-sensitive Rust services for high-frequency data processing.
• Implement robust, testable financial logic with strict correctness guarantees.
• Develop and maintain streaming pipelines for real-time event processing.
• Optimize system performance across CPU, memory, and network layers.
• Collaborate on API design, data modeling, and overall system architecture.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Rust, Docker, AWS, and Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in Rust ownership, lifetimes, concurrency, and async programming.
• Deep understanding of systems thinking, including latency, throughput, and failure modes.
• Experience building high-performance services in production environments.
• Must be eligible to work in Germany or willing to relocate with provided support.

Nice to have

• Experience with coding agents or AI-assisted development tools.
• Background in domain-driven design and distributed microservices.
• Prior experience in financial services, compliance, or audit requirements.
