Senior QA Automation Engineer (Python)

Location: Hybrid role, requires regular office attendance.

Salary: €72,700 – €109,100 EUR per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans across UI, API, and backend systems.
• Build, maintain, and scale robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to define test coverage and quality goals.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Drive the adoption of new quality engineering standards, tools, and processes across teams.
• Analyze test results and work with development teams to resolve defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test plan execution.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API test automation for web or mobile.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium or Appium.
• Strong experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, GraphQL, or gRPC.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices, Git, Jenkins, and Docker.

Nice to have

• Experience testing on non-PC devices like game consoles or mobile devices.
• Familiarity with React Native.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed system testing.
• Experience with performance, load, and scalability testing.
