Senior QA Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases across UI, API, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define test coverage and quality goals early.
• Build, maintain, and scale automation frameworks including device and performance testing.
• Improve quality engineering practices by introducing new standards, tools, and processes.
• Develop reusable test utilities, APIs, and libraries to enhance automation efficiency.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software testing experience including test plan design and execution.
• 3+ years hands-on UI and API test automation experience for web and/or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, or JavaScript and experience with Selenium and/or Appium.
• Strong experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in an agile environment.

Nice to have

• Experience testing on non-PC devices such as phones, game consoles, or set-top boxes.
• Experience with React Native.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed system testing.
• Experience with performance, load, and scalability testing tools and practices.
