What you will do
- Test existing functionality and new features in web applications.
- Perform manual functional, regression, integration, UAT, and smoke testing.
- Test REST APIs and verify bug fixes.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
- Write and maintain test cases, checklists, test plans, and test reports.
- Collaborate with development and product teams, participate in release planning, and validate releases before deployment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
- Experience testing web applications across frontend and backend functionality.
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Strong knowledge of testing theory, SDLC, STLC, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Experience with JSON, HTML/CSS, MySQL or Oracle databases, Jira, and Confluence.
- English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
