What you will do

• Own and maintain the team backlog, ensuring work items are structured, prioritized, and continuously refined.
• Define clear features and stories with detailed acceptance criteria, dependencies, and constraints.
• Lead backlog refinement and facilitate sprint planning to ensure realistic team commitments.
• Act as the primary day-to-day interface for stakeholders to align the delivery plan with business needs.
• Accountable for story acceptance, confirming work meets the Definition of Done and is suitable for release.
• Coordinate priority conflicts and dependency impacts with peer teams to preserve delivery flow.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software product management and technical product knowledge.
• Deep knowledge of mining operational workflows, constraints, and challenges.
• Proven expertise in decision-making, critical thinking, and effective professional communication.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and structured delivery methodologies.
• Must be based in or have valid work authorization for New Zealand (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Must be able to work onsite five days a week in Christchurch.
