What you will do

• Participate in design reviews to ensure software and automation sequences are robust and manufacturable.
• Analyze Linux-based module behavior and C#/C++ control sequences to identify potential risks.
• Perform signal/power tracing and motion profile analysis to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
• Provide 3rd line support for hardware and software integration during early engineering and pilot builds.
• Define NPI control sequences, diagnostic guides, and test flows to ensure factory readiness.
• Collaborate with D&E and process engineering teams to drive smooth module release and ramp-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation.
• Experience with Linux-based control systems.
• Proficiency in C# and/or C++ for analyzing system control logic.
• Knowledge of motion control fundamentals, IO interfaces, and communication protocols.
• Strong analytical skills for system-level debugging and root cause analysis.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under US Export Administration Regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor equipment, robotics, or precision motion systems.
• Familiarity with EtherCAT, PLC interactions, or embedded Linux.
• Hands-on experience with sensor/actuator integration or motion tuning.
• Exposure to ECN and structured root cause analysis processes.
