What you will do

• Deliver high-quality software, including requirements, design, code, and documentation for the Bill-pay experience.
• Contribute to early quality assurance via peer reviews of estimates, designs, and code.
• Provide production support by monitoring systems and remediating critical issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, UX, and other business units.
• Mentor junior software engineers through code reviews and technical sessions.
• Drive proactive efforts to improve internal processes and the existing codebase.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications and backend systems.
• Proficiency in Java and Python for backend development.
• Solid grasp of JavaScript fundamentals and experience with React, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful web services.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks, mocking, and integration testing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
