What you will do

• Translate complex clinical or economic decision problems into mathematical or computational models
• Build R or Python backends and R Shiny frontends for client-facing decision tools
• Apply optimisation techniques and data visualisation to communicate solutions to non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with economists, epidemiologists, and clinicians across therapy areas
• Support redesign of disease models using AI and develop AI agents
• Contribute to proposals, publications, and training resources advancing hirify.global methodologies

Requirements

• PhD in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience in mathematics, physics, engineering, operational research, or related STEM field
• Fluency in at least one of R, Python, or MATLAB and experience with version control (git)
• Strong interest in agentic models and AI-assisted working
• Experience with numerical modelling, differential equations, or algorithm development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex quantitative work clearly
• Initiative to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse colleagues and clients
