What you will do

• Build and own the end-to-end procurement function, including intake, approvals, and spend governance.
• Develop the framework for vendor lifecycle management, from sourcing and selection to contracting and renewals.
• Lead strategic sourcing and high-stakes negotiations for SaaS, AI, cloud, and professional services.
• Implement and optimize procurement tooling, such as P2P platforms and contract management software.
• Act as a strategic partner to Finance, Legal, IT, and Security to balance speed with cost discipline.
• Hire and develop a lean, high-impact procurement team to scale with company growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience building a procurement function from scratch in a high-growth environment.
• Deep category expertise across SaaS, AI, and professional services.
• Strong track record of negotiating complex, high-stakes agreements with favorable terms.
• Ability to utilize AI tools for vendor intelligence and spend analytics.
• Must be based in the US (implied by US-specific benefits and E-Verify participation).
